Activities

We offer many co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities such as FFA, Drama, Choir, Band, Dance Team, Cheerleading, Speech, Silver Cord (Community Service Volunteer Opportunities), FTC & FRC Robotics Club, and Art Club.

UHS offers many IAHSAA (Iowa High School Athletic Union) & IGHSAU (Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union) sports such as cross country (boys/girls), volleyball, swimming (boys/girls), football, basketball (boys/girls), wrestling, track (boys/girls), soccer (boys/girls), golf (boys/girls), tennis (boys/girls), baseball, and softball. In addition to Iowa High School Athletic Union sanctioned sports, many students are able to participate in local volleyball, rugby, and ice hockey club sports.
