Activities

We offer many co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities such as band, choir, cheerleading, dance, drama, speech, and more.

UHS offers many IAHSAA (Iowa High School Athletic Union) & IGHSAU (Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union) sports such as cross country (boys/girls), volleyball, swimming (boys/girls), football, basketball (boys/girls), wrestling (boys/girls), track (boys/girls), soccer (boys/girls), golf (boys/girls), tennis (boys/girls), baseball, and softball. In addition to Iowa High School Athletic Union sanctioned sports, many students are able to participate in local volleyball, rugby, and ice hockey club sports.
