Good luck to the individual speech participants who will be headed to Maquoketa Valley High School tomorrow for the District Speech Contest!!!

There will be a BOB meeting during WIN Friday, March 6th in the Board Room.

Volunteers are needed for Special Olympics, Sunday, March 8 at the Unidome from 9:15-3pm. Sign up sheet is in the office. Any questions see Mrs. Gassman.

There is now a BOYS TENNIS sign up in the office. There will be a BOYS TENNIS MEETING after school on Monday, March 2nd in Ms. Kvale’s room.

Are you a senior? Are you planning on going to college to study education (early childhood, elementary, secondary)? Make sure you apply for the McIntosh/Mathiesen/Niemeyer/Gassman $2,500 scholarship! The application is due by tomorrow to Mr. Parson.

The La Porte City Lions Club Scholarship application is due Monday by 3:30 to Mrs. Kriz. They award five $500 scholarships and is open to all seniors.

If you are a senior from DG, don’t miss applying for the Ascalon Masonic Lodge Scholarship, due Thursday, March 5, to Mrs. Kriz.

Students taking OW classes should be finished by TODAY to get a credit for trimester 2.

Students have until Wednesday to change their schedules (add/drop). After Wednesday, no classes can be added to their schedule and they have two weeks to drop a course, if necessary.

REGISTRATION FORMS FOR 20-21 CLASSES IS DUE TO MRS. KRIZ OR YOUR ADVISORY BY MONDAY! IT MUST BE PRINTED AND SIGNED BY A PARENT!

The Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls proudly presents the 10th annual Prom’s Closet where local youth have the opportunity to find the perfect prom dress at a reasonable price. Dresses are $20, shoes are $3 and accessories just $1. Proceeds from the event help further support Junior League’s mission to positively impact teens in the Cedar Valley! Prom’s Closet will be located at Crossroads Center in the old Vanity space on March 6th and 7th. We would really appreciate your help in spreading the word to all our local teens by posting the attached flyer in your school and/or including it with your online communication with students and parents! There are flyers posted on the office window.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the fundraising efforts for the Cedar Bend Humane Society. We have raised over $300 so far! Over the next four weeks, you have the chance to contribute to the donation drive. Bring donations to your advisor by Friday each week to compete. Union High School has the opportunity to earn the Carrie Chapman Catt Award if we get 90% of our eligible students registered to vote. Any students who will be 18 before November 3, 2020 are eligible.
