PEOPLE PARTICIPATING IN THE BLOOD DRIVE ON MARCH 6TH:
If you signed up to donate blood and are 16 years old, you must complete a parental consent form. They must be returned to Ms. Zondo or Maddy Bonner before giving blood on Friday. (If you are 16 years old and did not receive a form when you signed up, see one of the people listed above.)

REGISTRATION FORMS ARE DUE TODAY TO YOUR ADVISOR OR MRS. KRIZ. If you don’t have yours signed, please get it printed and signed tonight and give to Mrs. Kriz tomorrow.

We will be using Trimester 2 final grades for our “F” list for this week. The list will be pulled Thursday morning and students with a failing grade will have Chromebook and study hall restrictions for the following two weeks.

Students in Comp II may be asked to move to 6th hour if it works in your schedule. Please check your email today to see if you are chosen.

The last day to change your schedule is Wednesday. The last day to drop a class for a study hall is Friday, March 13.

Tomorrow is the free “Understanding Financial Aid” meeting for juniors and their parents. John Holland with ICAN will review the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process, scholarship info, and more. Join us from 5:30-6:30 in the high school library!

MVP mentors will meet Thursday during WIN.

The La Porte City Lions Club Scholarship is due TODAY to Mrs. Kriz.

The Ascalon Masonic Lodge Scholarship is due THURSDAY to Mrs. Kriz.

The Robert Smiley Scholarship is due FRIDAY to Mrs. Kriz.

The Myers-Gordy-Pippert American Legion Scholarship is due March 9 to Mrs. Kriz. This is open to any Dysart-Geneseo senior.

La Porte City Women’s Club Scholarship is due March 13 to Mrs. Kriz. This is open to any senior of UHS.

There will be a BOB meeting during WIN Friday, March 6th in the Board Room.

Volunteers are needed for Special Olympics, Sunday, March 8 at the Unidome from 9:15-3pm. Sign up sheet is in the office. Any questions see Mrs. Gassman.

There will be a BOYS TENNIS MEETING after school TODAY Ms. Kvale’s room.

The Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls proudly presents the 10th annual Prom’s Closet where local youth have the opportunity to find the perfect prom dress at a reasonable price. Dresses are $20, shoes are $3 and accessories just $1. Proceeds from the event help further support Junior League’s mission to positively impact teens in the Cedar Valley! Prom’s Closet will be located at Crossroads Center in the old Vanity space on March 6th and 7th. We would really appreciate your help in spreading the word to all our local teens by posting the attached flyer in your school and/or including it with your online communication with students and parents! There are flyers posted on the office window.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the fundraising efforts for the Cedar Bend Humane Society. We have raised over $300 so far! Over the next four weeks, you have the chance to contribute to the donation drive. Bring donations to your advisor by Friday each week to compete.
