- There will be a Kids Fun Run before the Union Cross Country meet on tomorrow, September 10th at 4:00 pm at the LaPorte City Golf Course. It will be a 1 mile run….. Come and run for fun!!! GO KNIGHTS!!!

- SILENT AUCTION SHEETS ARE IN THE OFFICE!!! BE SURE TO GET THOSE BIDS IN!!! Items up for bid are a box of sour patch kids and a box of candy bars!!!! The auction ends at 8:30 am Wednesday, September 30th. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
- The 2026-27 UMS Dance Team sign up went out today…. So be sure to get signed up if you are planning to go out for dance team. Please make sure you have a current physical on file to participate. Deadline to register is September 25th. Thanks
- 7th Graders: The Iowa League of Cities invites 7th-grade students to participate in the “If I Were Mayor” essay contest, sponsored by Snyder & Associates, promoting civic engagement and leadership. Regional winners receive scholarships, and a statewide winner is honored at a city council event. Mayors and educators want to encourage student involvement in local government. Stop in the office for more information.

- The Wolf Creek Players are holding auditions for their upcoming November play, “The Many Disguises of Robin Hood” Auditions (open to any K-12 students) are going to be held at the Dysart Public Library this Sunday, September 13th from 1-3 pm.
