7th Graders: The Iowa League of Cities invites 7th-grade students to participate in the “If I Were Mayor” essay contest, sponsored by Snyder & Associates, promoting civic engagement and leadership. Regional winners receive scholarships, and a statewide winner is honored at a city council event. Mayors and educators want to encourage student involvement in local government. Stop in the office for more information.

The Wolf Creek Players are excited for their upcoming play, “The Many Disguises of Robin Hood” . They are looking for any K-12 students, who would like to participate. There are many parts available… Dates for practices, etc are 11/1/26-11/8/26, all practices and performances will be here at UMS in the Auditorium . MARK THOSE CALENDARS FOR THE UPCOMING “GARRISONS HAUNTED” COMING UP….. KICKS OFF ON OCTOBER 16-17, special opening. OCTOBER 23-24 , 7:00-11:00 pm and OCTOBER 31 from 8-10 pm. Located on Main Street in Garrison, IA. Admission is $15.00. Children under 12, must be accompanied by an adult.
