Friday is the LAST day to bring in non-perishable food, personal care products and/or money to your 4th hour teacher. Nut butters (peanut, almond, cashew, sunflower seed) are always worth 5 points. Money is worth double this week = 8 points per $1!

If you missed getting an appointment to donate blood on November 5, please contact Belle Olson (22olso_i@union.k12.ia.us). You must be 16 years old to donate with a parent permission form and 17+ without parent permission. A blood donation can help save up to FOUR lives!

MVP Mentors be sure to get your field trip forms signed today or tomorrow. You must have these turned in by Wednesday morning. The bus leaves at 8 am.

Students taking OW classes, you should be about 80% complete in your class by Thursday afternoon. There are just over 3 weeks remaining. You must have the course/s complete by the end of the trimester.

There is Accuplacer testing available on Thursday, November 4. Accuplacer Next Gen is a free college placement exam used at community colleges. If you’ve never taken the ACT but are planning to attend a community college, get signed up to test!

All seniors must attend advisory next Monday, November 1!

Garrison’s Haunted House is open 10/29-30th from 7-11 pm nightly. $10 admission. Indoor waiting & 25+ rooms of scares!! This is a fundraiser for Garrison Fire Department.

There will be a GIRLS BASKETBALL MEETING Friday, October 29th during WIN in the upper gym. Please select Mr. Bruns if you plan on going.

Seniors, we are in need of your senior and baby pictures for the yearbook. Please send to Mrs. Warren or bring in to Lab 1.

PHOTO RETAKES will be Monday, November 1st in the morning. THERE ARE ORDER FORMS FOR RETAKES IN THE OFFICE.
