- “Special Prize Table Drawing” You received an email from Mrs. Driscol with all the details!! PLEASE check this out!!!! A lot of great items up for grabs!!!! I will be drawing names on Wednesday afternoons. Be sure to fill out a slip with your first and last name on it and get entered for the drawing!
- 7th graders: Please be sure to turn your EWALU Permission slips into the office ASAP. Also, make sure you get signed up for a lunch. You have to have these signed and turned in so you can attend the field trip on October 13th. Thanks
- LKLC will be doing a Trot for Tots 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Fun Run coming up on Sunday, October 17th. Registration forms available in the office.
- We have FREE passes available in the office for the Mega Monster Trucks Live which is coming up on October 15tth through the 17th in Cedar Rapids.
- The Wolf Creek Players will be presenting the play, “The BoardingHouse” Performances on: Saturday at 2 and 7 pm, and Sunday at 2 pm right here in the UMS Auditorium. Please come and check it out!!!
- If you are an 8th grader and interested in joining MS FFA select Ms. Selken on Wednesday, October 6th for WIN. There will be a brief informational meeting. There is no obligation to sign up. Come and see what FFA is and the opportunities you can be involved in.
- Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade football teams last night at East Marshall ….came away with 2 BIG victories!! 8th grade won: 44-20 and 7th Grade won: 16-0
- Congratulations also to our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams as they dominated the Oelwein teams!! 7th grade girls went 3-1 last night : A Team won 2, B Team won 1 and the C Team played tough!! Go Knights!!!
- Congratulations to our UMS Students of the Month for September: 6th Graders were: Joaquin Rodriguez , Carson Neckanicky, and Adie Hinebaugh. 7th Graders were: Lucy Parson, Shay Kinsinger, and Kyra Murray. 8th Grade were: Ella Grote, Taylor Baltes, and Alivia Keegan.
