It’s that time of year again!! If you have a teacher that is special to you or who has made a difference in your life, nominate them for the Gold Star Award for Outstanding teaching!! Nomination forms are in the media center and the office and are due by February 20th.
Students taking college classes online or on campus need to pick up their course info/letter (if you haven’t already) and textbooks TODAY. Hawkeye classes start tomorrow; Upper Iowa University classes start today.
Accuplacer testing is available this Thursday for anyone interested in testing. Sign up through your Canvas Calendar – click “Find Appointments” and click on the time you want to test. Click “Reserve” to submit your name.
Students taking the PSAT/NMSQT will have a preadministration session during WIN Wednesday and Thursday, if needed. You have been selected by Mrs. Kriz – report to Room 18 (FCS – Stoakes). You must bring a #2 pencil with (non-mechanical).
Students taking OW courses should be finishing their Unit 3 by Monday to stay on pace for the end of the trimester.

Junior Boys: The American Legion sponsors Boys State which is a week long event held annually at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa. This year’s event is set for June 13 – June18, 2021. This goal of Boys State is to educate and train students in the understanding of one this country’s most precious freedoms: the democratic form of government. If you are interested in this opportunity, please talk to Mr. Toenges.
