Good luck to the choir as they have their first concert of the year tonight at 7 p.m. Activity passes are accepted. Come enjoy some nice music on this crappy windy day!!

Iowa Central Community College will be here Wednesday to visit with interested junior/seniors. You have until noon Tuesday to sign up for their visit.

The U.S. Marines will be in the lunchroom on Thursday. Please talk to them during lunch if interested in learning more about their opportunities.

There are still a handful of appointments available to donate blood on November 1. Please see or email Mrs. Kriz if you’re interested. You must be 16 years old or older to donate.

Accuplacer testing is available on November 7. The sign up is outside Mrs. Kriz’s office. Please sign up if you need to qualify for Applied Math, Exploring Physical Science, or still need it for community college entrance!

On Monday, Oct. 28, all UHS students will have the opportunity to participate in the Iowa Youth Straw Poll. We’ll send out a ballot that day in Google Forms and then Ms. Patel will share our results with the Secretary of State’s office. XC TEAM: All uniforms and all sweats must be turned in by TOMORROW if you are not running districts.

There will be a BOYS SWIM TEAM meeting TOMORROW 23rd at 7:45 a.m. in the aud.

Large Group speech season is coming up soon! The UHS speech team will be having a meeting on TOMORROW in the upper gym during WIN time. Please select either Miss Leytem or Mr. Bostian for WIN and report to the gym. IF YOU ARE SELECTED BY ANOTHER TEACHER, YOU NEED TO GO THERE FIRST. Stop in and get the meeting info from Mr. Bostian or Miss Leytem, or ask another speech team member. Hope to see you there!

There will be a GIRLS BASKETBALL MEETING during WIN on Friday November 1st.

There will be a BOYS SOCCER MEETING on Monday October 28th at 7:30 a.m. in the auditorium for any boys interested in soccer for the 2019-2020 season.

PICTURE RETAKE DAY: Picture retake day is THIS THURSDAY in the morning. If you need a form, they are in the office. Remember to bring the photos that you want to return when you get your retakes done.

There are 2019 Halloween Hustle 5krun/walk registration forms in the office. The Halloween Hustle is set for Sunday October 27th at 2p.m. in Dysart.
