Congrats to the volleyball team for beating Denver last night!!!

XC TEAM: Boys practice will begin at 3:15 today and Girls will have pictures at 3:45.

Any students grades 9-12 that have volunteered a lot should consider applying for the 2020 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. Find the application at spirit.prudential.com or nassp.org/spirit. Applications must be submitted by November 5, 2019. Our school can choose one recipient to move onto the state-level judging competition. State-level honorees can earn $1,000 scholarship and all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for national recognition events.

MVP Leadership Team will meet Friday during WIN in Room 19. Mrs. Kriz has already selected you.

Mrs. Kriz is looking for two more students to attend the UNI campus visit next Thursday. Please stop in or email her ASAP if you want to attend!

Accuplacer testing for community college entrance is available Thursday, October 3. Please sign up outside Mrs. Kriz’s office if you’d like to test.

Any SENIOR girls wanting to do powder puff that aren’t already in groupme chat please talk to Natalie Tecklenburg.

SENIORS: Seniors, if you want a senior class picture (which will be 9.23.2019 during advisory in the gym) stop by your advisory before/after school and pick up a picture form. Mrs. Warren has a few in her room as well.

A local resident is looking to hire a high school student (16 years +) to do random work such as mowing, painting, picking up branches, and more as they renovate their La Porte City home. They will pay $10/hour. The work is as needed, no set times as they are traveling from the Des Moines area. They are looking for someone available this weekend, if possible. Please see or email Mrs. Kriz ASAP if interested!
