TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27TH BLACK DAY DAY 2

  • You can bring in your GOT U’S to put your name in for  the Prize Table Drawing…..  I will draw the winners on Friday  afternoons.  GOOD LUCK!!!  
  • The Wolf Creek Players are excited for their upcoming play, “The Many Disguises of Robin Hood” .  Coming up next week!!!   They are looking for any K-12 students, who would like to participate. There are many parts  available…  Dates for practices, etc are 11/1/26-11/8/26, all practices and performances will be here at UMS in the Auditorium .  If you are interested please let me know in the office or you can contact the director (Deb)  at 319-404-5412 or email: wolfcreekplayers2009@gmail.com.   
  • BE SURE TO CHECK OUT  the  “GARRISONS HAUNTED” ….  OCTOBER 31 from 8-10 pm. Located on Main Street in Garrison, IA. Admission is $15.00. Children under 12, must be accompanied by an adult.  We have postcards in the office if you would like to grab one.  SPOOKTACULAR FUN!!!   GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN!!  
  • Picture retakes are coming up on Monday, November 2nd . 
  • Silver Cord Hours are posted right outside the office.  Please check these,  and if you have any questions please let me know in the office. (only students who have hours are posted)   Thanks so much!!  I will also be sending out a Silver Cord  information sheet too!!! 
  • Silver Cord Opportunity coming up on Sunday,  November 8th, here in Dysart.  Club Dysart are looking for some students to help at their Waffle Brunch from 8:30 am to NOON at the Dysart Community Building (lower level) If you are  interested please stop in the office for more details.  
  • Dysart Fire Department will be having their Pancake Breakfast this Saturday, October 31st from 7 am to noon. At the Dysart Fire Station. Free will donation and proceeds go towards our new truck and rescue equipment. (serving pancakes, sausage, milk, juice, coffee)
  • SILENT AUCTION SHEETS ARE OUT!!!  ITEMS UP FOR BID ARE:   A RGB FLYING DISC AND A KOMBOID BOUNCY CUBE GAME.  BIDDING WILL END AT 8:30 AM FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30TH.   GOOD LUCK!! 
  •  THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the UMS students who helped  at the Monster Mash on Friday at LPC Elementary.   Way to go UMS!!!!   
  • The Health II Class at Union High School is launching a project to support Ronald McDonald house with baskets for all 28 families for the holidays.  I will be sending out a flyer with more information. If you would like to donate please drop off at the high school in LaPorte by December 1st. Thanks so much!
