GOOD LUCK tonight to the fresh/soph and varsity football teams as they take on the South Tama Trojans in the home opener of the season!! Tonight is a black out/12th man shirt night!!

Today is the last day to register for the McLeod College Fair at UNI! This is open to interested juniors and seniors and is next Tuesday, September 9 from 9-11 AM. Students must register here AND pick up a field trip form from Mrs. Kriz TODAY.

Seniors: the UNI EOC counselor will come to speak to you Monday during WIN. This was rescheduled from Wednesday of this week. Please report to the Auditorium on Monday. If you are at an internship, WCC or absent that morning, please see Mrs. Kriz for the information.

2025-2026 YEARBOOKS: If you are interested in purchasing a 25-26 yearbook, here is the link to purchase them. This is different than years past. Please reach out to Mrs. Vogeler with questions.

**Union High School music wing is being cleaned of the mold issue. This should continue throughout next week and perhaps into the following week. Doors have been marked as DO NOT ENTER. Door 4 by the choir room will be off limits while this process is being completed. While they are cleaning the building, if you can avoid parking in the south lot, that would be appreciated. In addition, there will also be plastic marking areas to not enter. This should only affect the music wing at this time. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Toenges.

HOMECOMING GUEST FORMS: If you plan on taking a student from another school or past graduate under the age of 21 to homecoming this year, please stop by and pick up a guest form.

The La Porte City FFA Ag Museum is looking for student volunteers on 9/28 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM- this is a great silver cord opportunity. Students will help answer questions at the historical walking tour on main street in La Porte City. Contact Mrs. Damro by September 12 if you are able to help as a silver cord volunteer opportunity.

Powder Puff/Tuff reminder: Sign ups for all players and coaches are located outside Ms. Deitrick’s room. Please grab a waiver to get signed and turn back into Ms. Deitrick by September 15.

School photos will be taken on Wednesday, September 24th!! Forms will go out during advisory next week. There will also be extras in the media center.
