PROM AND AFTER PROM INFO:
*Grand March is in the UHS Auditorium: 4:30 p.m. (Free Will Donation – recommended donation $5) All are welcome to attend. Those participating in the Grand March, please be at the high school by 4:15.
*Students are encouraged to park at the Sportsplex and take the shuttle bus to the Courtyard Marriott. IF you are eating the Starbecks meal, the shuttle leaves the Sportsplex at 6:55. IF you are NOT eating the Starbecks meal, the shuttle leaves at 7:55.
*Dinner at the Courtyard Marriott by Waterloo: 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
*Dance at the Courtyard Marriott by Waterloo: 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. You need to be at prom by 9:00 p.m. or you will not be allowed in. Once you leave prom, you will not be allowed to re-enter.
*Shuttle will leave the Courtyard Marriott at 11:10 p.m. and return to the Sportsplex
After-Prom to follow at the Sportsplex 11:30 – 3:30 You will need to be at after prom by 11:30 or you will not be allowed in. Once you leave after prom, you will not be granted re-entrance.

Silver Cord verification forms for SENIORS are due to Mrs. Kriz by Tuesday, April 22 for it to count for awards day and graduation recognition.

The La Porte City Nursing and Specialty Care is looking for volunteers for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12. If you are interested in helping, please reach out with questions to Morgan Hendryx at 319-342-2125 or mhendryx@careinitiatives.org. Your volunteerism can count toward silver cord volunteering hours and is a great way to help your community.

SUMMER JOB OPENINGS: Union High School is looking for summer maintenance help. These are hourly paid positions. We are searching for three to four students who would be willing to help move desks, clean classrooms and help get the building ready again for the fall. If you are interested, please see Mr. Toenges. or fill out an application (available in the office) and submit it to the high school office.

PROM INTERMEDIATE LICENSE DRIVING WAIVERS: If you have an intermediate driver’s license and will be driving after 12:30 AM this weekend for prom, you need to stop by the office and pick up a waiver. This waiver will need to be filled out and signed by BOTH your parent AND Mr. Bruns or Mr. Toenges and the form will need to be in your vehicle this weekend.

SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITIES!! Its not to early to start thinking about a summer job. The Dysart Aquatic Center is taking applications for lifeguards and concession workers for the summer. Applications are available at Dysart City Hall or on the web site www.cityofdysartia.com
