The FFA ski event and chapter meeting that were scheduled for 2/17 is cancelled due to projected temperatures. The next FFA Chapter Meeting will be 2/18 during WIN.

Next week is National FFA Week! Breakfast will be available in the ag room for FFA members and those interested in joining FFA starting at 7:40 AM Tuesday-Friday next week.

Prom season is just around the corner! Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls is excited to announce the 15th year of Prom’s Closet, a fantastic resource for students throughout the area needing formal wear. Please help us spread the word to your students and encourage them to visit Prom’s Closet! This event will be held on Friday, February 28 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday, March 1 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM in Crossroads Mall, Waterloo. It is once again the time of year to show your appreciation for outstanding teachers that have made an impact on you by nominating them for the Gold Star Teacher Award!! Nominations will be taken now through February 20th. Please see the posters with QR codes hanging throughout the school to make your nomination.

SENIORS: Please remember that we need your senior photo for the wall composite. It needs to be a fairly close up photo that is up and down/portrait orientation. You can drop off a photo to the office or email it to k_gleason@union.k12.ia.us THANK YOU!!!
