Thinking about entering the military? Do you want to learn more about your abilities and receive help in your career exploration? Students in grades 10-12 can take the free ASVAB test on Tuesday, December 17 to learn more about their strengths and get career feedback. Testing is periods 1-3. Students must sign up by TODAY by submitting their name in the Google Form Mrs. Kriz emailed you.

La Porte Nursing and Specialty Care is looking to fill a Dietary Aide position.
Students must be 16 to apply. Responsibilities include serving, setting up, dishes, bussing tables, and cleaning, etc. The job is from 330 – 730 pm, 2-3 days/week, and no experience is needed. Applicants will work every other weekend and will be trained for the job. Once trained, employees can fill in on weekends and over Christmas 9 am to 130 pm. If you are in grades 10-12 and looking for a part-time job and in health/human service experience, a local senior citizen (LPC) is looking for home health assistance this winter. Tasks could include daily living chores such as cleaning, picking up, and food prep. Please see Mrs. Kriz for more information.

Students taking OW class/es this semester: you should be about 80% through your class on Wednesday, December 11. Mrs. Kriz will email progress reports to you and parents.

The Student Council is selling Christmas cookies again this year! Cookie selling will be after school yet this afternoon outside the office. Cookies are $1 each!
