CONGRATULATIONS to the IE speech team members at District Competition Saturday!
Division 2 ratings went to Ben Rosauer for his Original Oratory titled “Agriculture Cares!”, and Alexander Dickerson in Radio News Announcing.
Those advancing to the state competition earning a Division 1 rating would be: Clara Carlson in Solo Musical Theatre “Pulled”, Erica Hoppe in Solo Musical Theatre “It Won’t Be Long Now”, Cooper Spore in Solo Musical Theatre “It’s Hard To Speak My Heart”, Ella Grote in Storytelling “Interrupting Chicken”, and Olivia Hanson in Spontaneous Speaking.

Austin Martin, Mason Herman, Madi Bistline, Lorelei Hinebaugh, Madi Bistline, Landen Reed Stop by Ms. Sauer’s room to sign the All-State Banner and pick up your programs.

There will be a BAKE SALE TODAY after school benefitting the Academic Decathlon team. Bring your $ and buy some goodies!!

UHS will present Seussical the Musical Friday March 8 and Saturday March 9, 2024. Join the Cat in the Hat as he and other beloved characters from your favorite Dr. Seuss books take you to the Jungle of Nool, Circus McGurkus, and Whoville. Tickets will be $8, all seats are reserved, activity tickets will not be accepted. Tickets will be available online or in person at the high school office during school hours.

The Laporte Dysart FFA chapter will be hosting a donkey basketball tournament THIS Friday March 1 at 7:00pm in the main gym with a free will donation meal starting at 5:30 in the cafeteria. Tickets can be bought in the office for $7 in the office and $10 the day of the event. Hope to see you all there!!!

Happy belated birthday to Amalachi Johnson and Leigh Sides (kitchen staff) who celebrated birthdays over the weekend!!!

Lunch today: Breaded pork chop with a muffin (choice: hamburger on a bun) broccoli with cheese, mandarin oranges, the fruit/vegetable bar and milk OR grab and go chef salad meal or uncrustable meal.
