THERE IS A STATE VOLLEYBALL PEP BUS SIGN UP IN THE OFFICE!! Please take advantage of this as we need a good number to ride to make it happen. Cost is only $5 and you will need to show the bus driver proof of your ticket before riding. Please sign up in the office by Monday morning so we can see if we have enough to ride.

The La Porte-Dysart FFA Chapter will host their Greenhand and Chapter Degree Ceremony on Sunday, November 1, at 6 PM at UHS! All FFA members and their families are encouraged to attend. The November FFA meeting will follow at 7:00 PM in the ag room.

SCHOOL PHOTO RETAKES: A reminder that school photo retakes will be Monday, November 2nd in the morning. If you need retakes please bring your photo package with you that day.

SENIOR GROUP PHOTO: Halverson photo will be taking a group senior photo at the beginning of WIN on Monday, November 2nd.

Silver Cord Opportunity: On behalf of the Tallgrass Prairie Center, UHS students are invited to the Fall 2026 Smith Prairie Volunteer Work Day! We will be removing woody vegetation at Daryl Smith Prairie (Cedar Falls) (720 W. 29th St.) on Saturday, October 31st from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. This is a great opportunity for students and community members to get involved with maintaining the natural areas around the UNI campus. If you are interested in attending, please sign up using this form.

The Health II students are collecting donations for their project that will help twenty eight families living at the Ronald McDonald House. The items they are asking for is on a list in the office and they will also take cash donations. Reach out to a Health II class member with questions.

The AFTER PROM committee is hosting a scrap metal drive Nov 6-8 to fundraiser for this years after prom. It will be held in the parking lot of the high school. There is a flyer in the office if interested and information was emailed to families.

WINTER SPORTS SIGN UP SHEETS: There are now wrestling and basketball sign up sheets for both girls and boys wrestlers for the 2026-2027 season in the office.
