LPC Public Library is looking for volunteers on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10-2 and Monday, January 19 from 9-3. They have recently renovated and are working to get things ready for their grand opening. Volunteers can just show up and help for any amount of time.

Special Olympics Iowa is hosting the Northeast Basketball Skills Competition at UNI WRC in Cedar Falls on Saturday, January 31st from 9:00am-1:00 pm. They are in need of volunteers and would love to assist you with getting involved! Volunteers support their athletes by writing down scores, encouraging athletes, escorting athletes, running a station, or handing out awards.
