TONIGHT the Union Girls Tennis Team will celebrate their final regular season meet against Grundy Center with a SENIOR NIGHT celebration. The team is 3 – 7 and has played 4 ranked teams this fall season. To celebrate these seniors, there will be posters in the LMC today. UHS students are welcome to sign them to wish these ladies good luck as they finish their careers on the UHS Courts and begin their post season on Monday with an all day NICL tournament. Thank you to our seniors and GOOD LUCK to Alivia Keegan, Addie Engel, Madison Martin, Bailey Brown, Lauren Frush, Addie Pospisil, Lily Schmitz, & Jill Hanson!

**Union High School will be having the music wing of the building cleaned of the mold issue beginning today. This should continue throughout next week and perhaps into the following week. Doors have been marked as DO NOT ENTER. Door 4 by the choir room will be off limits while this process is being completed. While they are cleaning the building, if you can avoid parking in the south lot, that would be appreciated. In addition, there will also be plastic marking areas to not enter. This should only affect the music wing at this time. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Toenges.

HOMECOMING GUEST FORMS: If you plan on taking a student from another school or past graduate under the age of 21 to homecoming this year, please stop by and pick up a guest form.

The La Porte City FFA Ag Museum is looking for student volunteers on 9/28 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM- this is a great silver cord opportunity. Students will help answer questions at the historical walking tour on main street in La Porte City. Contact Mrs. Damro by September 12 if you are able to help as a silver cord volunteer opportunity.

Homecoming is approaching with some fun changes! This year, ALL grades will be eligible to participate in both the Powder Puff and Powder Tuff games this homecoming week. Sign ups for all players and coaches are located outside Ms. Deitrick’s room. Please grab a waiver to get signed and turn back into Ms. Deitrick by September 15.

School photos will be taken on Wednesday, September 24th!! Forms will go out during advisory in the next few weeks. There will also be extras in the media center.
