The boys and girls golf teams both finished 5th at the Anamosa Invite yesterday. Senior Amelia Schmitz shot a career best round of 91 to lead the girls team and finished 4th overall! The boys team was led by “little brother” freshman Nash Schmitz who shot an 80 in his first meet. Good luck to both teams tonight as they travel to Denver to play the Cyclones and East Marshall.

The La Porte City Nursing and Specialty Care is looking for volunteers for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12. SUMMER JOB OPENINGS: Union High School is looking for summer maintenance help. These are hourly paid positions. We are searching for three to four students who would be willing to help move desks, clean classrooms and help get the building ready again for the fall. If you are interested, please see Mr. Toenges. or fill out an application (available in the office) and submit it to the high school office.
PROM INTERMEDIATE LICENSE DRIVING WAIVERS: If you have an intermediate driver’s license and will be driving after 12:30 AM this weekend for prom, you need to stop by the office and pick up a waiver. This waiver will need to be filled out and signed by BOTH your parent AND Mr. Bruns or Mr. Toenges and the form will need to be in your vehicle this weekend.
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT SIGN UP: An email went out Thursday to Juniors and Seniors with the sign up for both the pickle ball tournament and the cornhole tournament. Sign up early as there are only so many slots available!! PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT IS FULL!!
