Our UMS Student Council is going to be sponsoring a Canned Food Drive. Donations will be accepted through next Wednesday, December 11th. You can bring in non-perishable food items and leave them with your KT Teacher. You can also bring in monetary donations (checks made payable to UCSD with UMS Food Drive in memo) Any money donated will be used to purchase additional food items. Grade levels are competing against each other with the winning grade earning a movie in the Auditorium. Please consider donating and helping families in need this Holiday Season. We appreciate your support and look forward to helping many families as a result of this event!!! Thank You!!! Along with this , the Lions Club are looking for some students (a great way to get some silver cord hours) to help on Saturday, December 14th to help pack up and deliver the donations around Dysart. Please let me know if you would like to help.

Another Silver Cord Opportunity!! The Dysart Women’s Club is in need of volunteers to help with a Breakfast and some Activities at the Dysart Community Building from 8;00 am to noon tomorrow. Please let me know right away in the office if you would like to help out.

UMS Dance Team: you will be having pictures on Monday, December 16th during our practice at 6:30 am.

Any 7th and 8th grade girls interested in going out for wrestling please be sure to sign up in the office. Please be sure to have a current physical and other paperwork on file!!!

For any 7th and 8th grade boys interested in going out for basketball – there will be a meeting during KT on Tuesday December 10th in Mr. Alpers’ room and there will be an open gym after school on Thursday December 12th for anyone not out for wrestling. There will be transportation to LaPorte City afterwards.
