- Silver Cord Hours have been updated. Please be sure to check them. If you have any questions/concerns please let me know in the office. Also, 8th graders if you are planning to turn in hours to reach your 100 hours these will be due at the end of the day on Friday, May 10th.

- Silent Auction Sheets are in the office. Items up for bid are : Tortilla (Burrito) Blanket and a HUGE tub of cheeseballs!!! Get those bids started!!! Bidding will end at 10:30 am next Wednesday, May 1st.
- The Dysart Family Aquatic Center is looking for Lifeguards (have to be 15 to take the course) and Cashiers (have to be 14 years of age) to work at the pool this summer. If you are interested please let Mrs. Dabney or the office know. Thanks

- Great job to the girls track teams last night at Independence. They finished 2nd as a team. Haylee Hegdahl set another PR in the high jump 4’8″
- Chloe Sadler ran 3 great 400’s !
- Finley Keegan cut 22 seconds off her PR in 1500.
- Kayla Toenges cut an incredible 34 seconds off her PR in the 1500!
- Avery Weber took 2nd in her first ever 200 hurdles with a great time of 34.12!
- Reese Anderson ran a blazing fast 100 hurdles 16.72! Just 4 tenths off the record set by the great Megan Hudson!
- 7th grade Champions were:
- Distance Medley Relay: Laura Dutler, Brooke Kotouc, Alyza Harting-Radke, and Peyton Brown.
- 100 meter hurdles: Paige Pipho
- 4 x 400 Relay: Austin Kirby, Alayna Rohrbach, Alyza Harting-Radke, and Jewel Paine
- 8th grade Champions were:
- Shuttle Hurdle Relay:Caitlyn Schneider, Libby Clark, Keelan Even, and Reese Anderson.
- 400 meter dash: Ellie Pospisil.- Chloe Sadler was 2nd also.
- 4 x 200 Relay: Adie Hinebaugh, Haylee Hegdahl,Keelan Even, and RaeLynn Wildeboer.
- 100 meter hurdles: Reese Anderson. Caitlyn Schneider was 2nd also.
- Sprint Medley Relay: Charli W, Haylee Hegdahl, Caitlyn Schneider, and Chloe Sadler.
- 200 meter hurdles: Reese Anderson.
- 4 x 400 Relay: Adie Hinebaugh, Haylee Hegdahl, Ellie Pospisil, Chloe Sadler.
- 8th grade 4 x 800 team of Kendra Stock, Kamryn Foulk, Linkyn Vaughn, and Skylar Pearson took 4th place.
- Great job to our boys track teams also at Indee on Tuesday!!!

- 20 7th grade girls attended the “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” on Thursday. They got to work in small groups to create various designs, including a rocket and homemade headphones. Special congratulations to Jewel Paine, Avery Weber, Finley Keegan, Alyza Harting, and Alayna Rohrbach for winning the “Save the World from Zombies” competition.
- 8th graders going out for high school football this fall there will be a meeting in the high school ( LaPorte City) auditorium at 5:45 pm on May 5th. If you are considering playing high school football next year you are encouraged to attend.
