The following scholarships have upcoming deadlines:
• LPC Lions Club Scholarship is due Friday to Mrs. Kriz.
• Norma Anders Memorial Scholarship is due Friday to Mrs. Kriz (this is for anyone thinking of being an education major)
• Marilyn Mehlhaus Scholarship is due Monday 3/25 to Mrs. Kriz (this is for anyone thinking of being an education major and/or music major)
• Roger Higgins Memorial Scholarship is due Thursday 3/28 to Mrs. Kriz
• Rodney Albertsen Scholarship is due Thursday 3/28 to Mrs. Kriz (this is for anyone entering a trade or the field of conservation)
Monday, 3/25, is the two-week drop deadline for anyone still considering dropping a class. A drop form is required as well as parent and teacher signatures. See Mrs. Kriz.

KID’S FUN FAIR this weekend! The ACDC team is hosting a Kid’s Fun Fair Saturday, March 23rd from 1-4 pm here at the high school. There will be a variety of games including a bouncy house, spin art, face painting, etc.!!! Entry is a Free-Will Donation. There will also be yummy baked goods, gently used children’s books, and handmade jewelry for sale as well.
FFA PANCAKE BREAKFAST SUNDAY!!! Please help support the La Porte City-Dysart FFA by attending the pancake breakfast being held Sunday, March 24th at the middle school in Dysart. Freewill donation for fresh off the griddle pancakes, sausage, and hashbrowns!!! Please see the flyer attached.

The ISU Statesmen Chorus will perform a concert for the public TONIGHT in Union High School’s Matt Auditorium. Doors open for the public at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. There is a free-will offering to help cover the choir’s transportation costs. The UHS Concert Choir will also perform alongside the Statesmen from ISU. Come hear several Union alumni singers who are current members of the group!

Prom 2024 is on Saturday, April 13th. You can now stop by the office and sign up and pay for prom. Cost is $30 per person ($60 per couple). If you want to sign up for the dinner as well as prom, please stop by the office and sign up BEFORE March 27th. You can sign up for the dance until April 5th. Prom GUEST forms are now also available in the office. Please stop by and get a form if you plan on bringing a guest from another school or who is a past graduate.
