Congratulations to the COOL SPORE BROS on winning the 2024 LIP OFF!!! The total money that will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers will be $2,854.56. 2nd Place was A Pizza My Heart. 3rd Place : The Presleys. 4th Place All the Single Ladies

Congratulations AGAIN to Eli Grote and Paige Wenszell on advancing to State Math counts, which will be held on March 22nd at DMACC in Ankeny. Also, congrats to Alex Potter on finishing in the top 3. Congrats also to Lane Wood on being the Top Alternate.

If you are interested in participating in a Poster Contest. We have information packets available here in the office. Deadline to submit your poster is Thursday, April 25th.

Just a reminder if you are planning to go out for track, be sure you have an up to date physical and any other paperwork turned in that is needed to go out. Track practice for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls will be starting Monday, March 18th when you return from Spring Break.

Silver Cord Opportunity coming up tomorrow and Sunday March 10th right here at UMS. The UVC will be hosting volleyball tournaments here at UMS. They are in need of students to help in the concession stand for both days. Please let me know in the office if you can help by 2:00 pm. This afternoon. Thanks in advance..

STUDENTS: Remember that when you select your lunch option in the morning you need to keep your selection. Our kitchen staff works very hard to serve all of you and it makes it very difficult when you switch your choice in the line.

Also, tonight and tomorrow evenings the High School will be presenting their Spring Performance “ Seussical The Musical” in the Auditorium at UHS. Showtimes are at 7 pm on both nights.

Reminder no school next week (3/11 – 3/15) due to Spring Break. ENJOY!!!! Also, it is daylight savings time this weekend so be sure to Spring Ahead! (set those clocks one hour ahead) !!!

FFA Middle School Fun Night open to all 7th and 8th graders coming up on Friday, March 22nd from 6-9 pm. If you want to attend you will need to get a permission form from Mrs. Ahrendsen and return it .
