  • Silver Cord Hours have been updated so  be sure to check them out!  They are posted right outside the office. 
  • Students, We have Gold Star Teacher Nomination forms/brochures  in the office for you to pick up !!  Please fill out some  forms for  our AMAZING teachers here at UMS.   Then,   submit them in the box in the office, we will need those turned in by nextTuesday, February 20th. You should have also received an email to vote as well. 
  • Silver Cord Opportunity coming up  in LaPorte at the high school, it is for  a volleyball Tourney coming up  on February 24th.   You should have received an email with the sign up.   If you have questions please stop in the office.

  • Lip Off Performers you  ALL did an excellent job….  Don’t forget to money vote for your favorite performances.   The top 11 performances will be moving on to Round 2  and will perform on Monday.   So far, we have raised  $555.90 to donate to the Tunnel to Towers!!!  Way to  Go UMS!!! 
  • No Practice for the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball tonight. Enjoy the weekend 
  • The 8th grade Boys Basketball team recovered from a slow start to easily beat Oelwein on Tuesday night  and also pulled out a hard fought win last night against AGWSR. Congratulations! They will play at home both Tuesday and Thursday night next week.  GO KNIGHTS
  • Great job to all the math counts students. They finished 4th out of 12 teams.  UMS had 3 of the top 20 students:   Congratulations  to Eli Grote and Paiige Wenszell on advancing  to State Math counts, which will be held on March 22nd at DMACC in Ankeny.  Also, congrats to Alex Potter on finishing  in the top 3.     Congrats also to Lane Wood on being the Top Alternate.
