BOYS TENNIS AT HOME HAS BEEN CANCELLED

GOOD LUCK tonight to the girls tennis team who is still headed to Indee tonight and the girls track team who is still headed to Jesup at this point!!!

The boys and girls golf teams played in the Anamosa Invite yesterday. The boys finished in 2nd place and were led by Joe Bistline and Mack Schmitz who each shot rounds of 77 to finish tied for second place individually. The girls team finished in 3rd place and were led by Amelia Schmitz who finished in 3rd place individually with a round of 102.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS: YOU SHOULD BE REGISTERED FOR PROM NOW, IF NOT PLEASE COME IN TODAY AND GET IT DONE EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT PAYING YET.

PROM FLOWERS: TODAY Lisa Eikamp from Simply Blooming will be at the school to take orders for flowers (corsages and boutonnieres) for prom night. SHE WILL BE HERE DURING 4TH HOUR. You will be able to fill out a form to order them and they will be here Friday before prom to pick up. This is a great chance to get your flowers ordered so you have one less thing to worry about before prom.

SENIORS: Please complete your spotlight, Mrs. Warren needs it by mid-April. Thank you!

The girls soccer coach is looking for a student that could take pictures for their home and away games. If interested email or stop by and see Mrs. Warren.

Students, are you looking for a Summer job? The Dysart Family Aquatic Center is looking to hire lifeguards for the 2023 Summer. If you are interested, please contact the City of Dysart or Peg Hennings for more information.

Hawkeye Community College’s Summer College Credit Program opened its registration TODAY at 9 am for current 8th through 11th grade students. Hawkeye anticipates some classes filling up fast. Check out their site now and decide if this is something you want to pursue. Classes go on both your college and high school transcripts so it’s important to make sure you have time to devote to the class/es if you choose to register. Students that might take the Summer Nurse Aide course through Hawkeye – if you want a job prior to the class finishing, you can apply at La Porte City Care Initiatives! They will hire you as a non-certified aide until class begins, help develop your skills and pay you while you’re in clinicals. Pay is up to $19 and flexible hours. Pick up information in the main office.
