Congratulations to the Union Large Group Speech for their performances this past weekend in Cascade. Three groups brought home two Division I’s and one Division II. The two Musical Theater performances, Veggie Tales and Rothschild and Sons, will be performing in two weeks at state contest at Waterloo West. Great job!

GOOD LUCK tonight to both our Jazz I and Jazz II groups as they perform right here at UHS at the IHSMA Jazz Band Festival. Jazz II performs at 4 p.m. and Jazz I performs at 6 p.m. Cost for students is $3. Come support our UHS Jazz bands and enjoy some great jazz music!!

Its time to nominate that special teacher in your life for the 2023 Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching! Nomination forms are in the office and the Media Center. Please have your nominations in by Monday February 20th. This is a fantastic way to show a teacher your appreciation for going above and beyond and making a difference!
