- The Silent Auction Sheets are now up in the office!!! There are 3 Bucket Hats up for bid; A pink, green, and a yellow. Be sure to get your bids in!!! Bidding will end at 8:45 am on Friday, September 30th!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
- Drivers Ed Information: “Are you 14 years old and ready to learn how to drive? Get registered for a driver’s education course. The next LPC class begins on October 2. Go to www.streetsmarts.com for information and to sign up.”
- Also, you should have received an email with a link regarding KWWL’s Play of the Week. Union’s own Briar Mast was nominated as one of the Friday Night Heroes Play of the Week. Briar had an 85 yard kickoff return for a touchdown in last Friday’s game at CPU. Please take a minute to vote for Briar, this would be great recognition for him, our school, and our football team. Thanks for voting and GO KNIGHTS!!!
- Like last year, They will be hosting the Super Shooters Girls Basketball Camp this fall at UHS. The camp will consist of skills stations, individual contests with trophies awarded, and various games for girls in grades 2-8. The camp will be held the Sunday afternoons of October 9, 16, 23 and November 6 at Union High School. Girls in grades 6, 7, and 8 will attend from 1:00-2:30; grades 4 and 5 from 2:30-4:00, and grades 2 and 3 from 4:00-5:30. Please use door #9 in the back of the school to enter the gym (near the weight room).
- Good effort by our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams last night in Jesup……It was a great learning opportunity for our first game! Both 7th and 8th grade saw victory throughout the night. We get to retry again next week when we play Jesup again, here at home!!
- ATTENTION 6TH GRADERS: If you would like to attend the Benton County Safety Day Camp on Saturday, September 24th, please be sure to get your registration form in by Tuesday, September 20th. You should have received the form in KT.. If you have any questions or need another form just stop in the office.
