- 8th graders please be sure to check your Silver Cord Hours, they are posted outside the office. Let me know ASAP of any questions or concerns! For those 8th graders planning on getting their 100 hours you need to have them turned in by Wednesday, May 11th.
- 8th graders: I do have information sheets for Drivers Ed up here in the office.
- Any 8th graders interested in trying out for the high school dance team , there will be auditions this Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th. There is a google form you need to complete by May 5th. Please let me know if you are interested. I have information in the office.
- Congratulations to the 7th and 8th Boys track teams on their performances last night at Vinton. The 8th grade tied for 4th, and the 7th grade was 3rd. There were 6th 1st place finishes!
- A special congratulations to Preston Christie on breaking the 100 meter hurdle record. The record of 15.51 had been held by Brock Barnhart since 2011. Preston’s new record is 15.28 !! Great Job Preston!!
- A BIG Thank You to the Bright Eagles 4-H Club for the treats left int he lounge for the teachers
- Hey 8th graders!! It’s time to elect your student council members for Next Year! It’s an easy process to get signed up to run for one of the 5 offices. See Mr. Moody to pick up the application! All applications are due by the end of the day on Friday, May 13th.
- Congratulations again to the April Students of the Month: 8th Grade: Morgan Good, Monica Biemann, and Hunter Lindeman 7th Grade: Olivia Sheffler, Hinley Mast, and Stratton Luke. 6th Grade: Skylar Pearson, Jayden Paine, and Wesley Buckingham
