Congrats to the Boys Golf Team on their second place finish at the sectional golf meet in Parkersburg on Wednesday. The team was led by Mack Schmitz who shot a blistering round of 75 to earn runner-up medalist honors. The team is next headed to State Center on Monday for district play in hopes of advancing from there to the state tournament in Ames.

Congratulations to Miya Uchiyama-Hansen. She placed 3rd in the State Qualifying Tournament as the alternate to state for Region #3.

Please wish the tennis girls luck as they begin team state tomorrow. Representing UHS is Miya Uchiyama-Hanson, Laura Rempe, Amy Caughron, Meagan Clapp, Carlie Spore, Cora Klein, and Kaylyn Davis.

UHS track teams had a great night at the district track meet last night!! We have several athletes that earned their ticket to state next week! We may have more, but have to wait until after tomorrow night when the rest of the meets will be held.

DUE TODAY: Student Council Applications are open for next year! Anyone interested in applying can get an application from outside Ms. Patel’s room. They are due on Friday, May 13 by the end of the day. All current members must reapply! See Ms. Patel if you have any questions.

SENIORS: There are extra UHS Graduation Announcements if you would like to purchase some. They are $1 each and can be purchased in the office.

DRIVER’S ED INFO: If you are in need of driver’s ed this summer, please stop by the office and pick up some information.

Dysart is in need of umpires for 3rd / 4th grade games this summer. Games would begin at 6:00 PM. Please contact Lindsay Pipho at lpipho@live.com if interested or wanting more information.

WATERLOO BUCKS JOB OPENINGS: The Waterloo Bucks will be holding a job fair on May 13th and May 14th for summer gameday staff. The job fair is May 13th from 4-8 p.m. and May 14th from 9-noon. There are applications in the high school office if you are interested.
