Once again, here is the list of the students receiving ALL STATE SPEECH recognition!! We wish them well tomorrow as they head to Ames for the ALL STATE SPEECH FESTIVAL!!!

Seussical – Rebekah Dickerson, Cora Klein, Elle Hookham, Matthew Medina, Hayden Spore, Erica Hoppe, Daniel Gray, and Landen Reed

Pippen – Laura Rempe, Joe Bistline, Austin Martin, Carlie Spore, Ellie Rathe, and Matt Carlson.

The wrestlers continue to do well at state today. So far Jace Hedeman, Caleb Olson and Hunter Worthen have made it to the semi-finals. Brayden Bohnsack and Stone Schmitz suffered losses this morning but will wrestle again later on and Dacoda Marvets has yet to wrestle today. Kim is not here and Kenda does not understand wrestling so this is what you get today…… 😊

THE 2022 GOLD STAR AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING TEACHING nomination forms are here in the office and in the Media Center or you can nominate online. If you have a teacher that has made a difference in your life or has gone above and beyond, please nominate them!! Seniors, please submit your senior and baby pictures to Mrs. Warren for the yearbook.

Union will be hosting a District Individual Speech contest at the Union Middle School and Mr. Bostian is looking for students who want to earn silver cord hours or make up detention hours before prom by volunteering to help at the contest. Contest is Saturday, February 26th, and you can work half a day or a full day. Mr. Bostian is looking for timekeepers, room chairs, people to work concessions, and office runners. If interested, please talk to Mr. Bostian.

If you are interested in taking Driver’s Ed this winter (next available session will be starting up April 4th) please stop by the office for an informational flyer.
