Tuesday, December 7th RED Day Day 4

  •  Don’t forget to get your names in for the weekly  PBIS drawing!!    I will be drawing names  tomorrow.   Be sure to fill out a slip with your first and last name on it and get entered for the drawing! 
  • Congratulations again to the  band students who participated in the NEIBA Honor Band over the weekend, they did an amazing job!!!  Also,  Please come  enjoy  and get into the holiday spirit by listening to our awesome bands this Friday evening at 7 pm in the auditorium.
  • Update on our UMS Fundraiser:   We will announce later today!!! First of all, a huge THANK YOU goes out to all the people who donated!  
  • There is a sign up outside of Mr. Alpers room for any 7th and 8th grade boys planning on playing basketball this winter. Reminder:  Make  sure to have an up to date physical, you cannot participate  without it.
  • It is that time of year!!!!!  The PBIS Store is a great place to do some Christmas shopping!! Please be sure to check out all the new and festive items!!
  • Silver Cord Opportunity coming up here in Dysart at DG Elementary. This Saturday, December 11th  at 8:30 am,  the Lions Club needs help filling Christmas boxes . If you are interested please let me know in the office.  
  • The Student Council is hosting a Food Drive for Christmas!!   So, please bring in any canned food, non-perishable, monetary donations, paper goods,   packaged items, etc.   All donations need to be here by  this Friday morning. .  Please take the items to your KT Teacher/classroom.  The grade that brings in the most items gets to enjoy  ice cream  and enjoy a movie in the Auditorium on the morning of December 22nd.   Thank you so much for your support.
  • The  countdown has officially started…..  In the spirit of Christmas we are going to have some fun days!!!  Tomorrow will be dress up as your favorite Christmas character!!   You should have received an email with all the days on it!!  Show your Holiday Spirit!!

  • Good luck to our 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams today as they take on the Huskies of Oelwein right here at UMS.  Games start at 4:15 pm.  Please come and cheer them on!  Go Knights!
