Mr. Parson needs 3 volunteers to help with concessions at the volleyball game on Thursday, September 16.

Girls interested in basketball should sign up in the office. Please also sign up if you are interested in being a manager or videotaping games.

If you are interested in bowling with the Waterloo West Bowling Team there will be an organizational meeting on Tuesday, September 21st at 6:30 p.m. at West High School. If you would like more information, please stop by the office and pick up a flyer.

If you are interested in playing in the SAND VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT on Friday, September 24th during the homecoming activities, please stop by the office and pick up a form. These forms are due back to Ms. Patel by Tuesday, September 21st.

There are waiver forms in the office for anyone who signed up to play powder puff. You MUST have the form signed and turned in to Ms. Patel by September 20 in order to play!

Anyone with detention hours to serve will not be allowed to participate in Powder Puff (September 22) or go to the homecoming dance (September 25) Be sure to get those hours served ASAP!

If you are planning on bringing a guest to the homecoming dance from another school, please stop by the office and get a form to be signed by the school administrator of your guest. These forms need to be signed and back to the UHS office by Wednesday, September 22nd.

Each year the Iowa Senate, Iowa House of Representatives, and Legislative Service Agency employ high school juniors and seniors of high academic standing to serve as Pages for the legislative session. To be eligible, applicants must be at least 16 years old by January 3, 2022. Pages will be permitted to participate in official school functions and social activities whenever possible. Pages will begin work on January 10, 2022, and work the entire legislative session that should be finished around the end of April 2022. If you are interested in this opportunity, please see Mr. Toenges.

Seniors, your class picture will be Monday, November 1 in the gym during Advisory. Please mark the date and time. See Mrs. Warren with any questions.

UHS school photo day will be WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH!! There are forms in the office and the media center or you can order photos online.
