Congratulations to the Girls Tennis Team as they celebrated Senior Night with their 5th 9-0 meet for the season. That means that everyone on the varsity team beat their opponents vs. South Tama last night. Thank you to the junior class who put together an awesome program for the seniors, to the tennis team who stayed to support their team last night, and to the teachers, families, and fans who continue to encourage us along this path!

The UHS Variety Show is tonight starting at 7:00 p.m. here in the UHS Auditorium. It will be an awesome evening of fine arts students showing off their skills!!! Lots of solos, dances, Jazz combos, and the 3 musical theatre groups will perform. Cost is $5 and activity tickets will be accepted.

Spectators will not be allowed into the meet if a ticket is not purchased online ahead of time. They WILL NOT be accepting cash at the gate.
Those interested in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) or those that have participated in the past, we will have a brief meeting in Mr. Bergmeier’s room during WIN on Thursday, May 13 to discuss next year as well as take a picture for the yearbook. So, this year’s seniors that were part of FBLA and the Veteran’s Day assembly in the past, please attend as well.
Students: The last day to order a yearbook will be May 26. You can order one through the office or online. See Mrs. Warren with any questions.
There will be a 2021 Girls Swim Team meeting on Thursday, May 13th at 7:45 am in the Media Center.
SENIORS: Please be checking with Mrs. Gassman in the media center and Kim and Kenda in the office to make sure you have all your fines and fees paid. These fees need to be taken care of before graduation. If you have any questions, just stop by the office and ask. 😊
Applications for the Tama County Fair Queen contest are now in the main office. Applicants must be between 16 and 21 years old by August 10, 2021. Applicants must be a member of any service organization (4-H is not a requirement) and reside in Tama County. Applications are due by June 1.
Silver Cord hours for grades 9-11 are now due to Mrs. Kriz by May 17.
