Over the past two days, several students participated in the State FFA Leadership Conference in Des Moines. While there, they attended sessions and workshops as well as competed in various Career Development Events. Each one was very successful in their respective event:

Ag Broadcasting: Elle Hookham – Gold
Ag Issues and Perceptions: Ellie Behrens, Tristen Heth, Breanna Weltzin, Lauren Youngblut – Silver
Creed: Olivia Hanson – Gold
Chapter Display: Sarah Roberts and Clara Carlson – Gold
Greenhand Quiz: Alison Gleason – Gold; Sydney Schmuecker – Bronze
Poultry Judging: Adam Ahrendsen, Tyson Fleshner, Brady Spence, and Hayden Spore – Silver
Public Speaking: Gabe Hanson – 1st Place, Gold, Advance to National in Indianapolis.

Anyone interested in going out for football next fall: There will be a brief meeting in the auditorium TOMORROW morning at 7:45 am.

Summer driver’s education registration forms are available to pick up in the main office. These are due by Friday, April 30 to the main office or Mrs. Kriz.

If you are looking for summer employment and are interested in applying for a summer maintenance position with the Union School District, please stop by the office and get an application. If you have questions, please talk to Mike Timmer or Mr. Toenges.

The City of Dysart is taking applications for lifeguards for the 2021 season!! If interested please check out the web site for an application. www.cityofdysartia.com

Seniors, we will retake the senior class picture on Wednesday, April 28th during WIN or Advisory. There were too many seniors missing from the picture taken in October. We will have to go fast and Lifetouch will be here to take the picture. We will meet in the gym. Order forms for the picture will be given a couple weeks ahead of time as soon as Lifetouch sends them if you would like to purchase one.

Lunch today: Pepperoni pizza or hamburger on a bun, lettuce and tomato, pineapple vegetable/fruit bar and milk. Grab and Go Options are the chef salad meal or the Uncrustable meal.
