Congrats to the Girls and Boys Golf Teams on their wins last night versus Wapsie Valley. Sarah Michael earned medalist honors with a career best round of 51!! The Boys team was led by Ty Lorenzen (medalist) and Lincoln Mehlert (runner-up medalist) who both shot a 40!
The momentum keeps rolling for the Union Knights 2021 Girls Tennis team sweeping their 3rd 9-0 meet this season against Grundy Center last night. These ladies are on a mission not seen in years. The girls team would like to thank the MANY supporters at the home meet last night. It means a lot to our entire team! They take on Dike New Hartford at home tonight and there is a home track meet. If you want to see a lot of great sport taking place at Union, spend your Friday night here at UHS supporting your Knights! #Letsgo!

Applications for the Tama County Fair Queen contest are now in the main office. Applicants must be between 16 and 21 years old by August 10, 2021. Applicants must be a member of any service organization (4-H is not a requirement) and reside in Tama County. Applications are due by June 1.

Current 9th, 10th & 11th Grade students: The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is currently seeking applications for their Teen Trust program. This is a youth philanthropy opportunity composed of 24 students from area high schools who have access to a $15,000 grant and work as a team to decide which organizations to assist through financial aid and volunteerism. This is a great opportunity to build leadership, use your voice and perspective, learn more about non-profits, business practices and finances! We have had a handful of students the past 10 years participate in this program – all have learned a lot and enjoyed their experiences! Applications are due this TODAY, Friday, April 30.
