Tuesday, December 8th 2020 Black day #2

On November 18th, the Union Competition Dance team attended state dance in Des Moines. The team consists of seniors: Sarah Roberts (captain), Sophie Winkelpleck (captain), Dolores Cicio, juniors: Chloe Juhl, Sarah Michael, Alexis Nosko, Cora Klein, and freshman: Brooklyn Hubbard. Awards were held on Dec. 5th, virtually, and the results were as follows:
Class II Novelty: Division I rating
Class IV Hip Hop: 3rd place trophy
Class IV Dance Solos: Sarah Michael placed top ten, receiving a 7th place trophy – she is the first soloist in Union’s history to receive trophy placement at solos!
In addition, Sarah Roberts was a Senior Scholarship Finalists and the team as a whole received the Distinguished Academic Award for having a cumulative GPA of 3.8.
CONGRATS LADIES!!!!!

Auditions for the Spring musical, “Into The Woods”, will take place the last week before Christmas break. Information can be obtained by enrolling in the canvas class “Spring Musical”
