A GREAT BIG CONGRATS to the volleyball team last night for earning a spot at the state tournament after their impressive win over Independence in 3 games!!! Opening round of the state tournament will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd. Please see the other attachment with the announcements today for details regarding school schedule.

Congratulations to the La Porte-Dysart FFA Marketing Plan as they got second place in the state. The team members consisted of Sam Fehl, Olivia Hanson, and Ellie Keegan!

There will be a PEP BUS for students to attend the state tournament. Cost is $5 for the bus and you will need $10 to buy a ticket when you get to the game. Please sign up in the office and have the $5 paid to the office by the end of the school day Monday. The bus will leave the high school at 8 a.m. and 8:20 at the middle school.

Seniors, there was a google form sent to you this morning to choose senior motto etc. Please complete this during or after WIN time today.

Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last day to bring in food and/or money to your 4th hour for the Student Food Drive! Remember every $1 is worth 8 points, nut butters continue to be 5 points, and everything else is 1 point. We challenge every student to bring in ONE thing tomorrow to help families in the Cedar Valley!

FREE Accuplacer Testing is available next Thursday for interested juniors and seniors. Sign up through your Canvas Calendar! Click “Find Appointments” on your calendar and choose the time that works best to test.

Students taking OW classes should be finishing their Unit 4 by next Tuesday.

There is now a WRESTLING CHEER sign up in the office and be watching the announcements for an upcoming meeting.

Photo retakes are Friday, November 6th. If you have not had your photos taken yet, there are photo forms in the office to use. If you are planning to get retakes done, please bring your purchased packet of photos from the 1st photo day and you do not need a new form.

There will be a mandatory girls basketball meeting Friday, October 30th from 2:15-2:45 in the upper gym

Seniors, we will be taking a class picture in the gym on Wednesday, November 11th during WIN. Please report to the gym right after period two that day and mark the date.

Seniors, please turn in your senior and baby pictures to Mrs. Warren, in Lab 1.
