This week, canned meat, nut butters and money are all worth extra points. All items have to be turned in by Thursday since we don’t have school Friday. Make sure to put your name on your items when you turn them in – enters you to win a Chick-fil-A sandwich card and/or t-shirt!

Juniors taking the Practice ACT this week, please report to the Media Center immediately after school. Make sure you have a #2 pencil (non-mechanical) and Tuesday have your calculator.

Students taking an OW course should be finished wrapping up their Unit 3 today.

Want to help with the Student Food Drive but can’t bring food or money for the class competition? Consider volunteering at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank! Not only can you get volunteer hours but you can also help UHS in their Student Food Drive competition vs. Hudson High School!

For every hour volunteered, UHS will get 100 meals added to our total meals raised! That’s the same as you donating $25 to our food drive!

NHS is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, November 6th. Students 16 years old and older can donate. Appointments can be made Wednesday during lunch!

Seniors, we will be taking a class picture in the gym on Wednesday, November 11th during WIN. Please report to the gym right after period two that day and mark the date.

There is now a BOYS SWIM TEAM sign up in the office. There will be a team meeting on Saturday, October 24th 1 p.m. at Central Middle School in Waterloo. Use door #19 to enter, its where you enter to for practice according to Coach.

Seniors, please turn in your senior and baby pictures to Mrs. Warren, in Lab 1.
