Friday, March 6th RED Day Day #1

 

  • Don’t forget we have ear buds for sale in the office for $1.00. 
  • We have registration forms in the office for the Fighting for Feuerbach 5K  Fundraiser. It is coming up on Saturday, March 28th in Dysart. Please stop in the office and grab a sheet.
  •  7th and 8th graders Don’t forget to sign up for Track in the office.  Girls practice will start on Monday, March 9th and boys will start on Wednesday,  March 11th. Make sure you have a current physical on file.
  • Staff and Students:   Ready to try something different?  How about the Luck of the Draw? Come into the library, select one of the wrapped books, and check it out.  Read it by March 30th and fill out a ratings slip to be entered in a drawing. Who knows – you might discover a new to you author or another favorite series!   See Mrs. Hix with any questions.
  • Lip Off total so far:   $2,328.78. We are going to extend  the money-voting until next Tuesday!!!!   Keep that money coming in, this is your chance to “Stand up For” people who have battled cancer or are currently fighting the battle!!!    CHALLENGE:    Any teachers that donate $100.00 to the LIP OFF, Mrs. Schadle will donate an additional  $10.00
  • Congratulations to all of the solo participants who performed yesterday at the NEIBA Solo Contest.   Students who earned the Golden Ribbon Highly Superior rating were Hayden Spore, Adam Brehm, Danson Moody, and Lauren Youngblut.  Congratulations to all of the students. Also, anyone who has not picked up their ballots and ribbon, please see Mrs. Routt today.
  • Students be sure to get your detention time made up before Spring Break.
  • March Silent Auction Sheets are in the office.  There is a Wild Card, Heth’s Homemade Goodies, and the Dale Jarrett Bobble Head.  Start your bidding!!!
  • Great job to the solo and ensemble performers yesterday!!!
  • Please come and enjoy the Wolf Creek Players  performance of “Tongue Twisted”!! They perform right here in the UMS Auditorium  tonight at 7 pm, tomorrow at 2 and 7 pm, and Sunday at 2 pm.
  • There will be a Battle of the Books meeting in Mrs. Spore’s room on Monday.   Please select Mrs. Spore for WIN that day if you are participating. thanks
  • If you have not  yet purchased a yearbook and would like to please do so by March 13th.  Please stop in the office.
  • Don’t forget to Spring ahead this weekend!!  Set your clocks ahead 1 hour.
  • Congratulations  to Taylor Baltes, Amelia Schmitz, and Aubrey Jordan on receiving BUG Awards. Congratulations to Hayden Spore on getting a C3PO Award.  Please stop in the office to get your certificate and prize!!!
