Basketball cheer clinic will be held tomorrow from 9 am to noon at high school gym at a cost of $15.00. Please come to the Office and pick up a registration form. It is for students in Preschool to 8th grade.
Be sure to come and boogie right here at UMS on Friday, January 25th from 7 to 10 pm!!! The Snowflake Shuffle will be hosted by the Junior Class After Prom Committee. There will be music, snacks, pop/water, and glow bracelets available. Admission will be $5.00.

Any 6th or 7th graders interested in participating in a Spelling Bee Contest please stop in the office and pick up a packet! Registration deadline is January 25th.

Any wrestlers wanting to wrestle in the Dysart Tournament coming up on Friday, January 18th right here at UMS, be sure to pick up a registration form in the office.

Any students 14 years of age or younger interested in entering a 2019 Iowa Radon Poster Contest, please stop in the office to pick up a registration and guideline sheet. Posters must be postmarked on or before March 1st, 2019.

Silent Auction Sheets are in the office so get those bids in!! Up for auction this month are: 3 noisy animals, Gloede Goodies, and a Wild Card!

You don’t need to bring your tray back to get seconds at breakfast or at lunch.

Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship will be held on Sunday, January 20th at 2:00 pm in Traer at the North Tama Gym. It is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 14 years of age. Please stop in the office to pick up a registration form .

Great job to our UMS Wrestlers last night!!! Caleb Olson, Keegan Ellsworth, & Brock Ruzicka all went 2 and 0 last night. Dillon Sparks, Tyler Wilson, Chase Taylor, and Lance Moore all went 1 and 1. Great team effort!!!

Good job to our 7th and 8th boys basketball teams last night! 8th grade lost a close one, but played well!! Unfortunately, 7th grade came up short, but put forth great effort and battled till the end.
