MVP Mentors need to pick up their field trip forms as soon as possible from Mrs. Kriz. They are due back on Monday at your MVP meeting (WIN).

Students taking the PSAT/NMSQT need to attend the preadministration session Thursday during WIN (Mrs. Kriz will select you – show up to Room 18/FCS with a #2 pencil). If you can’t attend, please coordinate another time to do this. It must be completed prior to test day (10/11).

Our first Knight Talks guest speaker is this Friday during advisory. Our speaker is the public relations/marketing director for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare/Covenant Hospital. Any students interested in public relations and/or marketing, and/or has an interested in communication, social media, working with others, and problem solving should attend. The speaker will share the education and skills needed, what you can do with the degree, and what you can do now to prepare yourself for this career. Report straight to the auditorium on Friday – attendance will be taken.

The University of Wisconsin Platteville will be here Wednesday, October 10 to speak to any interested juniors or seniors. Please sign up through the Google Form emailed to you.
The University of Wisconsin Platteville is a public university located in Platteville, Wisconsin. Part of the University of Wisconsin System, it offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The university has 13 residence halls and many new education buildings. UW-Platteville’s campus has no city streets that cut through campus. Each spring, the men’s and women’s rugby clubs host Mudfest on campus, a large fifteen-style rugby tournament for teams around the Midwest. Athletics at UW-Platteville are at the NCAA Division III level (www.uwplatt.edu & Wikipedia).

This Wednesday, October 3rd, from 3:15-3:40-ish pm UHS will offer our first mental health forum. We’ll meet in Ms. Zondo’s room and our topic will be LGBTQ+ 101. Hot drinks and light refreshments will be served and all students and staff are welcome.
Accounting and (HCC) Introduction to Business classes please get your field trip form to VGM filled out and give back to Mrs. Warren.

There is now a sign up in the office for BASKETBALL AND WRESTLING CHEERLEADERS. Tryouts will be on October 6th from 9-12.
