Once again I want to thank you and Union Community for the outpouring of support for the family of Jake Wilson. We are a proud example of the saying, “It Take a Village to Raise a Child”. This “village” has come together tremendously to help in this difficult time.
Today Mr. Fleshner and myself had meeting with all of the staff and students. The meeting provided information in the search assistance operation. We (Union High School) have been asked to assist in the organization of students and staff with the search on a “as needed” basis. We will be prepared to ask students to join in the search in an organized fashion to assist with anything that may be needed in a moments notice. We asked any student who is willing and able to assist to bring clothes/boots that they are able to change into in the case we are asked by authorities to assist.
Here is the permission form needed to allow us to ask your child to help if necessary. If you would like your child to help with the search please sign the form and have your child return it to school ASAP. If you are able to sign and email it back to us, that is fine as well.
Any one with questions are asked to contact Mr. Cayton or Mr. Fleshner.
Thank you all for your continued support and understanding.
