Group Improv of Adalynn Engel and Jersey Siech got a 2 at District contest
SeasStreet Short Film got a 2 at Districts contest
Musical Theatre Young Frankenstein – Austin Martin, Hayden Spore, Daniel Gray, Mason Herman, Clara Carlson, Lorelei Hinebaugh, and Madeline Bistline got a 1 at District Contest advancing to State on Feb 3! CONGRATS TO ALL!
GOOD LUCK to the Academic Decathlon team who is at Grundy Center today for the Academic Decathlon Regional Competition!!

Youth Tour – Washington, D.C.
ECI REC sponsors two high school sophomores or juniors on an expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. They will join other students sponsored by electric cooperatives from around the country to visit historical sites, explore the Smithsonian Museum, meet congressional leaders, spend a day on Capitol Hill, cruise down the Potomac River, and learn about American history and government. In 2024, the selected students will need to report to Des Moines on June 15 and return on June 21, 2024. To be eligible, students must have parents or legal guardians who are member-consumers of ECI REC.

2024 GOLD STAR AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING TEACHING: Applications are now available for the 2024 Gold Start teaching award. There are applications in the office and in the media center. The Young Women in Leadership Conference is set for Wednesday, March 6th at UNI (from morning to early afternoon) and grades 9-12 are welcome to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers focused on topics relating to leadership, as well as personal and professional development. Please email or stop in and tell Mrs. Warren or Mr. Bergmeier if you are interested. A t-shirt and lunch will be provided. Please sign up by January 31st.
