Famous Entrepreneur Project
Project Objectives
1) To search the Internet to find famous entrepreneurs and determine their road to success.
2) To predict what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
Project Requirements
1) You are to pick two entrepreneurs from a list generated in class or from your knowledge.
2) Investigate his/her backgrounds to determine the factors that leads to business success.
3) Determine the best way to present this information: written report, Powerpoint presentation, brochure, hyperstudio presentation, other discussed with teachers.
4) Due date: end of third quarter.
5) Assessment: depends on presentation style used. Criteria will be given for each type before assigned.
Project Instructions
1) Use Internet to find information about two entreprenuers.
Examples would be WalMart's founder Sam Walton's 10 Rules for Success or Wendy's founder, Dave Thomas' story or
crafter, designer, and stylish businesswoman, Martha Stewart or
cosmetic emperoress, Mary Kay
2) Mrs. Slessor or Mrs. Callahan will provide some work time in class but don't count on it.
Evaluation Criteria
1) Meeting deadlines.
2) Following criteria of presentation style.
